Well, because of a request, I thought I’d show you how to successfully install the Wicked Whims mod for Sims 4 on the newest macbook pro 2018.
Since it’s my first real video, I was hesistant to talk during the video. So instead I just show you each step and you just do it exactly the way I did and then it should work.
PLEASE, READ THE STEPS IN THE DESCRIPTION FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION:
First: go to the site.
Second: download the ‘SimFileShare’ file
THIRD: open that folder and you should find a file named ‘TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Scripts.ts4script”
Fourth: On your desktop go to ‘Documents – Electronic – Sims 4 folder
Fifth: Put the ‘TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Scripts.ts4script” file into your ‘Sims 4’ folder (This is very important, do it)
Sixth: create A NEW FOLDER (I just call mine ‘Wicked Whims’. Then go to your Sims 4 folder, go to MOD folder and put your Wicked Whims folder you have created in the MOD folder
Seventh: download any mod from the site and if you have a macbook like me, it should automatically unzip after the download, if not, then zip it manually.
Eight: put ONLY the unzipped file in the Wicked Whims folder in the MOD folder of your SIMS 4 folder
(Don’t put the mod folder you’ve downlaod from the site into the folder you’ve created, because the game will not find it due to too many folders.
I hope that didn’t sound as complicated as it did.
Once you’ve donwloaded and unzipped your wicked mods and put them into your new created file that you put into the MOD folder of the SIMS 4 folder and then play the game, you should be able to use them.
In your Sims 4 game options go to ‘Other’ and then enable ‘Custom Content And Mods’ and ‘Script Mods allowed’ or else you won’t be able to use the mods.
Any questions? Just ask. But if you do all of the steps, there shouldn’t be any questions.
