Unity3d Editor Tutorial – How to configure and use source control with Unity3d ?

Unity3d source or project files can all be tracked through source control technologies such as GIT or HG. Today I like to walk you through how we can configure Unity3d to use asset serialization that can be easy to see in clear text when pushing files to GitHub, in addition I am going to show you how to create a file called “.gitignore” to avoid checking in files that are generated during Unity3d compilation process which should be ignored.
